Yep, he has to cost more because Tielemans already left mate. If he leaves they'll need a lot of money, and a lot luck to find a somewhat decent replacement to play the CL. They'd prefer he'd stay for one more year, hence the record breaking contract offer.

I am sure one of the reasons Mourinho likes him is because he's always in the face of the referee; against Zenith Tielemans was going to see red (second yellow) he already had the card in hand but I think the shouting of Dendoncker dissuaded the ref. I don't like this; Mourinho likes this. He's not a dirty player btw, his tackles are clean.

...on the plus side, I think he'll be the first ever Cuco to play for Everton which will be a very nice bit of history.
