Suarez's Punishment

It has been pointed out that on each occasion he did this when the officials attention was elsewhere, same as with many of his other snidey fouls. Then to cover up pretends to be injured as though he was the victim. This is not some one with mental issues, he knows full well what he gets up to hence his actions always to cover up his own bad play.

Privately I was waiting for the fall out on this which is going to be big. In The Times today it was reported that Liverpool along with the Uraguayan FA are considering taking legal action against FIFA!! Boy this is getting so laughable now. Are Liverpool after compensation from FIFA? or trying to get the ban restricted to internationals?

This has all the hallmarks of a long running story which I think for us will be quite amusing.

I don't buy that one bit. He has been caught the last two times and punished severely after the fact. He knows he will be caught and punished again, it isn't logical to risk your participation in the World Cup to gain such a short-term advantage. Also, biting people isn't logical.

So Rakitic instead of Xavi?

I think Lucho will experiment with combinations in preseason to see which ones work best because I don't think Rakitic is merely rotating for Busquets....I see him playing with Iniesta, in front of Busquets in certain matches and alternate with Rafinha in others

His biting is all part of his dirty play, it is just my view though.

OK, but if part of my play was to kick dudes in the nuts, and I was already suspended twice for a total of 16 matches for kicking dudes in the nuts, I would probably stop kicking dudes in the nuts. Any reasonable, logical person would come to that conclusion, regardless if they're dirty or not.

I'm sure it's been mentioned but since the mob over the park call us bitters, can we now call them biters?

Well done Tubey, you are obviously a cut above the rest of us. LOL. Have to say could we rename the Liverpool thread in the other forum.

Suarez may not be reasonable or logical that does not mean he is mental. Perhaps retarded if you will settle for that.

The only part I thought was excessive was the ban on training and football-related activities. Surely, it has to be the club's right to let him train, he's on Liverpool's payroll. It's probably because I never expected the ban to extend to club level football, but I think the penalty is severe enough and makes a good statement.

But he HASN'T been punished severely. That's the reason why he CHOOSES to keep doing it - the punishment is too weak and people like you defend him by suggesting it's not his fault.
