A couple of reflections on the Suarez debacle......firstly, only Everton fans could turn something like this into our own managers fault -it's incredible. Secondly, if I were Moyes I would have responded along the following lines when quizzed by the media after the game when asked about his dive...."it wasn't a dive, the powers that be at Liverpool have categorically denied he dives. It was clearly a bad foul on the halfway line after he had scored despite there being no Everton player within 15 yards. Am I wrong"?
The ideal situation would be for them to draw a lower league club in the early rounds of the FA Cup away on a ****ty pitch in January, and for some technically limited journeyman centre-half to make a name for himself and properly damage him......a bit like happened with Shearer some years ago.
