Style of play

That's called idiot defenders passing to his weaker side.

His kicking is very hit or miss. When I've watched him warm up before matches at Goodison, he's spraying about passes and clear the lad can play a good pass. When it comes to the games, he'll sometimes play a great ball out wide or find DCL's head, but equally he can scuff the next three passes out of play for a throw in.

Definitely able to put up with that.

Thats because most of our fanbase are on at him to hurry up as were trying to keep in a game.

Sorry you just used a load of words I don't understand.
Once you start bleating about false 8s you stop talking about football.
I prefer Keegan's approach, 'the idea is to score one more goal than the opposition'. How's that for a tactical approach? Novel eh?
Well, that's us buggered then.

Come on mate, that's rubbish. Firstly, JP is a professional keeper, the reason he scuffs the odd pass has nothing to do with our fans hurrying him. Secondly, I haven't seen much evidence of our fans hurrying him at all - JP takes kicks in good time and doesn't dither on the ball - like they do with players like Ashley Williams.

I have to massively disagree.

I sit Park End right behind the goal. The fans are on his back all the time to get the ball forward quickly knowing how well he can pass.

We have been behind in pretty much all games this year. Its happening, believe me.

He's hopeless kicking out from back passes on occasion. It'll cost us one day.
If honest I was happy to stick with Robles, he had proven himself but we knew there would be mistakes.
I have been impressed with Pickford and most probably the best signing RK has brought in.
I have noticed his kicking can be erratic, but in defence to him he has no width to aim at so hitting balls into crowded areas.

As for mistakes, he will make them but like Robles we may need to preserve to see the best of him

I sit in UB, right next to GSE/the goal and don't get the feeling that the fan's are what is having an adverse affect on his kicking, but I might be wrong. It's tough to say without getting into JP's head I suppose - I just put it down to a bit of inconsistency rather than anything else.

I do agree that the atmosphere at Goodison has been venomous lately though, and there has been a huge sense of hostility towards what is happening on the pitch generally.
