I see that Cisse is joining Sunderland on loan.

That's the type of deal we should be looking for.

He seems to have lost his way but still a lot of RS fans believe that he was actually pretty damned good. His problem there was Benitez. A loan deal for Cisse would be excellent. Have Sunderland actually tied this up yet or are there still things to sort out? I seem to recall that he still owns a house in Cheshire!

I thought he was a good player too.

I was using that as an example as there have to be a few players that may as you've said, "lost their way" and have found themselves down the pecking order.

Wasn't Pienaar's situation at Dortmund similar?

Is Adriano truly washed up at Inter (is he still there?) or does he have something left to give?

I think Adriano would be great on loan, Inter just had better options and Adriano got unhappy squeezed out, and partly mental. I think someone should give him a chance though, he is a fantastic player.

Theres a video i made about him a couple years back, not that good, bit repetitive, but still, shows how good he can be :). (sorry about hte music)

Adriano is a pisshead who is always out @ clubs, unless he was willing to get his head down and play, it would be a bad move, if he cant get his act together for Inter, whos to say he will for us.

Plus im fairly sure hes happy @ home in Brazil.

I wouldn't mind Cisse on a years loan, sounds like a good deal for a good player. A season to see if he has got his injuries behind, if he has snap him up at the end of the loan, hopefully we can jump in last minute.

why dont we try a cheeky loan move for either scott sinclair or even maybe that frazier campbell (if they get berbatov), even Saha might be a decent loan option.

once we get cahill back he will be our second forward, with Vaughan, Anichebe and Baxter in reserve so we will have decent enough cover with a loan signing there.

we need about 3 or 4 in midfield.... reckon we get that M'bia, and i wouldnt mind us going for Wilson Palacios as well. He's a good tidy player.

Good points.

I just recently read somewhere that Steve Bruce issued a "hands off" to anyone inquiring about Palacios.

I wouldn't mind having him here.

(EDIT: Wilson Palacios, not Steve Bruce, just in case any of you were wondering.)

Palacios bossed the midfield against West Ham, quality player. I think he's happy at Wigan though, he'll be there for a year or two.

If we aren't going to go for Moutinho then we should go for a winger, a pacy winger possibly. Wright-Phillips maybe and move Arteta inside. I know he's not world class but he's a good winger, he's improve our side and his pace would be an asset.

I do worry that we are too slow at times, we have no one who can run at people and get behind teams. Obviously he's just an option, he's not going to get games at Chelsea anyway.

Campbell is a good call. Him or Ebanks-Blake would be good options.
