Yeah he has, and we do. I'm not debating that issue. I'm just thinking realistically we have no money, that is a fact. So we need to work with what we have, and I can see us hitting 5th spot again, 6th at worse.
One thing you can't do with Everton under Moyes and that is write them off.

Unreal. City, Spurs, Villa, Chelsea, Arsenal, RS, United all have better squads than us.

I don't think Moyes cares a jot about Villa or Spurs or anyone else for that matter, other than Everton Football Club.

Of course he doesn't. He's still got his eyes on them at all times though, to see who they are signing.
They are our rivals - it's what needs to be done. He's seen other clubs spending, and he's obviously concerned - hence what he's said in that interview.

Fact of the matter is he has money constraints. Nothing anyone can do about it, so as always he works with what he is given - as he has always done.

Spurs have more players, but better squad? I don't think so.
Villa are similar to ourselves, not really added, and it was thin last season, which is why they tailed off a bit and we took advantage of that for 5th place. They have added Downing, who will probably be out till the new year. We'll soon have Yak, Arteta, and eventually Jags back - 'they will be like new signings' , as Elstone said, and BK will probably come out with it soon as well!
I don't think City will make an instant impact, so all in all I'm confident of 5th again.

I was just saying that not many clubs are really strenghtening their squads. Financial climate, ludicrously hire price tags, it all conspires to the same point of fact. It is a sellers market.
So only those who have oodles of cash are actually making decent signings.

What's different about him, he's always constantly changing his opinions, it happens every half a season or so. That's why he's great, he hasn't added anything to his game and he doesn't need too.
