Streaming football games warning

Just want to raise a point. What if you were to watch streams of a foreign broadcaster, like beIN? I would imagine the whatever the judge said applied only to Sky/BT.

I pay for Sky and BT Sport and would, like many others in this thread, be more than happy to pay to watch Everton every weekend. The choice is not there, so what am I meant to do?

I confess to watching several Everton games on illegal sites.
I know it's shameful.
Would it be better if I watched Chelsea instead?

If this is a fact, although the OP consistently refuses to post a source, then it's clearly a case of a judge not understanding how the internet works.

Wouldn't be the first time and would be very quickly changed....if true.
I suspect it's more likely that the OP works for one of the TV companies and is using scaremongering tactics to try to put people off from streaming

Last season was one of the worst for watching Everton in a long time.
But we all still did it.

It is very important we all get to see how bad we are. I will explain that to the judge.

Read a bit of this, and still baffled what the law(s) actually are.

Thats why we get arsey when folk ask for or post streams in match threads. We havnt a clue if GOT could get done for hosting one. And we are not that sure a few mugs and an EFC print would satisfy the legal bill to find out.

An ex-colleague runs an online shaving supplies business on the side. When you are on his site he can see your view of his webpage, live. Like watching the mouse move around the screen. Apparently standard package in the e-commerce world.
Standard analytics stuff, mate. Clicky (which I use on a number of my sites) offers a basic heat map version (what they call that kind of thing). Not really interested in individuals but more in how people use or do not use sections of the page.

It's down to the isp provider to warn you I think Sky did it to my relation on downloading music in the old days illegally scared her with a fine etc etc she just binned it carried on changed her provider!
I think the GOT would legallly be in trouble posting match threads on a massive scale ...
The law ATM has a lot of grey areas Sky are out to try to stop it to no avail ATM....

I think Sky are just trying to keep hold of their customers and reduce the number of people trying to get their content for nothing. They might be more successful if they brought their prices down.
