Massive work rate. Which is pleasant considering some of the part time shifts we have seen from our strikers this season.

I love the way he gives 100% & made up for him and us that hed getting the goals he deserves.

He was brilliant today. I'm going to search, find and destroy all the posts I've made saying he was gash.

Big praise from Moyes today in his post match interview.

Said hes worked his balls off in training for the last 5 months and hes getting the rewards.

Plays the lone striker job to perfection, JUMPS FOR EVERY HEADER (ARE YOU READING THIS SAHA AND YAKUBU), chases EVERY ball, harrasses defenders, lays the ball off without fail, utterly superb Today.

He was fantastic, the lad never gives up he just keeps running, great work rate and it's good that he is confident in front of goal. Fans favourite.

Unless he plays two upfront Jelavic is going to have to fight tooth and nail to get Straq out of the starting 11

Yea, I heard the interview in the car on the way home.

He looks miles fitter now and has earned his chance. He'll never have the greatest touch, but even that's improved as he's got used to the pace of the game here. The main thing is his heart. He does what you tell your kids to do, go out there, keep on trying and never give up. I hope someone's sending the clips of his standing ovations back to his parents, they should be well proud of him.

Although Cahill's still not playing that well, I think he's helping there as well because Timmy sees he's not the only one busting a gut to close things done. Between the two of them they chased everything down in the first half, forced some errors and forced a change of plan from Chelski in the second half when Cech hoofed the ball up much more.

Marvellous stuff. I love the lad to bits, gashness and all.

And he's not a racist. Good find Moyes.

I love him.

I did want him to cry again though.

Speaking to some old fella at the spellow today who's been going to games since the 30's he said 'was a bit much when he cried like but I like his willing'
