Strangest place you've seen an Everton player

My mate used to cut Nicklas Alexandersens hair in the Toni and Guy in Warrington. She said he was completely in love with himself. She was made up when he got the boot !

I have done a lot of players hair over the years, only a few from Everton though mostly from across the park tbh. worst in terms of attitude was Eddie Bosnar, he was up his own ass

Hopefully because your first question was "why did you bottle it when the ball went in off Hutchinsons arse and blow for full time 20 seconds early, you lilly livered melt?"

He picked up on the accent...

Should point out this was from Stansted to I don’t think he was expecting it

After a game at Goodison in 1949, I waited outside the players' entrance hoping to get some autographs. I spotted Ted Sagar the goalie (walking with a guy I didn't recognise). They must have come out of a different exit. They turned down a road opposite and were walking quite fast. I chased them down the road and asked for an autograph. Ted Sagar said 'sorry but we have a tram to catch' and they continued hurrying down the road. Of course, in those days, players didn't have flash cars or even cars of any type. I am just reading a book 'When footballers were skint' by Jon Henderson. Even the top players were just 'one of us'.

Locking the door of my flat on smithdown road and seeing Shane Duffy walk into the completely above board thai massage parlour next door...

Years ago when the kids were young we had a week at Butlins in Pwhelli.
I was gobsmacked when I bumped into Derek Mountfield who was also having a week away there.
Before all the players started going to Dubai to be fair.

I used to work at sea on cruise ships. Duncan Fergusson and his wife boarded our ship in Venice for a 14 day cruise. Basically spent the whole two weeks hanging out with them, helping them pick their land tours, and their wine for dinner, and we organized footy games with the crew and locals in places like Kusadasi (Turkey), Big Dunc played with us. Boss two weeks. It was the week EFC made the decision to bring Kendal back as manager for a third time - summer 1997.
