I found out a while back that one of my friends is somehow related to him. All of his cousins have a bunch of his autographs and are friends with him on facebook and stuff.

I miss the man, simply for that Man City performance; forget about his ability and skill, that performance was without doubt the best I have seen for a lone striker. He battered Lescott and Kompany for the full game and barely had the energy to walk off when he was subbed.

Denis you big mong, I love you

not at all, wasn't near good enough, naismith if given a chance up top would be the most similar player we have to him in our squad now, i'd take naismith all day long

Loved the big man, really did. I think we all saw him as a breath as fresh air compared to saha who was stinking the place out with a bad attitude towards football and terrible work rate. Where as straq was the complete opposite, couldn't wait to play. He put in performances that literally sparked us fans into life which in turn sparked the rest of the team to fight for the cause at a time when we were a bit iffy. Ultimately he wasn't/isn't good enough but I think there are many players I'll forget before Dennis.

Nah. Naismith will win the header but not a lot else. The Straq would win the header and then chase the defender like a psycho so that the defender cleared the ball in a panic, meaning they couldn't start an attack properly.

I was surprised when we got rid of him. Although it wouldn't have surprised me if The Straq wanted to return home anyway.

How can I miss him? He's talked about on this forum at least once a week.

He wasn't good enough for the premier league. End of.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, that performance against Man City was the best individual performance I've ever seen from an Everton player in my lifetime.

I'm not talking about silky skills, or even killer passes or goals. Sheer determination. Chasing everything like a madman. Heart and most importantly EFFORT. No other supporters in the league appreciate all of the above like we do. Really want to see a replay of that match. I was off my seat shouting in delight.

Not really. I know he was poo but the amount of aerial 50-50's he won was brilliant. He did some nice flicks ons too. He did an alright job I thought.

Not enough quality but still loved the way he played, it was like one us fans getting on there, not good enough but will die trying.

I'd have him over Naismith though, I'd drive Naismith to Elgin on a scooter if it meant swapping these two.

I really did like Stracqualursi, I believe he had some developing to do. A year or two more in the Argentine league and then we buy him and loan him for a season to a championship and I believe he'd be ready for us.

I think he tried his best in the games, and gave the fans a lift with his performances, although he was not really the top class striker that we needed. As has been mentioned he would fill the same role that Anichebe is now filling, although Anichebe is currently offering more than Stracqualursi did.
