Never trevor....coming back with new material or just new shows? Both I guess?

Will be very interesting. Seen Ian Brown once in a solo show, never as the Stone Roses

This is my favourite thing ever to do with them. V Funny

Mate went to The Apollo in Manc to watch Ian Brown about 2 years ago, it was his birthday and the rest of the Roses joined him on stage.

All your Nirvana's and shiz, be prepared to see the real deal.

These are the guys that told The Rolling Stones where to go, "we aren't no warm-up act, we are gonna put on a show BIGGER than The Rolling Stones" and so we headed to an 'island' in the Mersey Estuary for the gig of the year.

I would be made up if this happened. Massive fan but too young to have seen them. Love Ian Brown, met him at an album playback thingy for his latest album, top bloke and a legend.

have to disagree welts, seems the 'legend' tag is thrown about quite freely these days. Much as I think the roses are ace, I think Brown is an absolute attitude ridden gobshoite, anyone that threatens to cut an air hostesses face off is a t1t in anyones book.

Yeah I guess he's not a music legend up there with Lennon, Elvis, Weller ( :P ) etc. But to me personally he's a legend. Christ knows what the air rage was all about but you couldn't wish to meet a nicer bloke really. OK that sentence probably seems weird, but honestly when I met him I was very pleasantly surprised with how nice he was. Had time for absolutely everyone there, posed for photos and autographs with everyone who wanted one, stood round and chatted for way longer than he needed too, and stood at the door and thanked everyone on the way out. Top, top bloke.

I hope that if they do reunite Ian keeps on making solo records though, everyone he's made has been really good in my opinion. Very different from the Roses' stuff but just as good I think. His latest (My Way) is up there in my favourite 5 albums.

I dunno, but to me he's a legend and I love him!
