Been finished for a year maybe year and half.

Has also been looking at moving back to SA to retire. Knows he's not the same

I will humbly disagree here...he's past it in terms of being a regular 90 minute player, but besides being our best player at being able to draw fouls (Barkley will be our best next), he still has a load of skill and combines with Baines so well. I've always thought he's best in the #10 role...so creative. Anyway, I do think he still has a place here...he's just been unfortunate this year with injuries.

I don't care if he's a geriatric or his groin is shot, schillo's back heel flicks are second to none. Love the guy and although he left, he came back which is more than many can say, I hope he will always be remember fondly at Goodison when he retires.

Hopefully we can get another tricky South African to succeed him!

Could have done with him in the last few games where no one seemed to want to take the initiative and play a risky forward pass. Hull and Spurs were terrible in that sense. He never passes up an opportunity to try and get someone in behind. Great player and still worth a starting place, for me.

One of the most gifted players ive seen in an everton shirt in the last decade or two in his pomp.

Legs are on the way out now though, think he'd be better used in the number 10 role at times rather than out wide
