directors of football don't work ! the one we have certainly doesn't work and what he has given us is an absolute travesty.

any players he has found have been the wrong players.
he has paid astronomically over the odds for those players.
he has ignored key areas of the team that have totally destroyed us.

he is an absolute charlatan and a catastrophic skid mark on our history.
he should be run out of the club and the board should be hounded with the same contempt until they do so.

What I can't understand is that when questioned on the Everton show, Walsh was asked what was the first thing he looked at when looking at a player to bring to Everton? He replied...character.
Well if that's the case, he should resign immediately because the one thing this team lacks apart from quality is character. As soon as Lyon scored, you knew we would fall apart and we did. There is no fight or character within this team at all.

I said this yesterday mate, at worst the least you would think would be his remit when looking at players is character and he's signed the biggest load of tosh we've seen since the days of Mitch Ward.

You only see the full character of a player in the face of adversity. It's easy to look good when things are going well, but who is prepared to really roll up their sleeves when the going gets tough?
That is one of the things that worries me about the present side. We have some players who think they have a sense of entitlement to be at a club and are 'too good' to be in a relagation dogfight. Alternatively we have some talented youngsters, who are short of confidence but are looking to the senior players for 'guidance' in these troubled times. At the moment they are not getting any.
Oh how we'd love the likes of a Dave Watson, Lee Carsley or Tim Cahill in the side. Although fine players, they're main attribute was their commitment to the cause and leadership they brought to the side. I look at our team now and I shudder to think of this lot of senior players 'leading' us into a relegation fight.

The squad, needed at least a keeper, two centre backs and full back cover and at least two strikers , and a wide player at the end of the season
We knew Rom was off ,but needed at least another back up striker even if he was replaced. Barkley looking gone as well.
The back four jags, Williams, Baines are to old to rely on over a season add in we had Barry at thirty odd, Kone ending his contract, Valencia lone ending and a few long term injuries
.add in one poor lad not having a locker and told he wasn't good enough anyway.
That gave us at least three months it to sort out. pretty big job but not impossible
We got the keeper . one of the centre backs and none of the rest, you could possibly say Rooney and Sandro as the strikers if you were being kind.
We bought in a load of midfielders who for the life of me I cant see were top of the list to create a squad
, despite most on paper being decent players .
Then while still needing all of the above we buy Siggy for a massive fee on the last few days in the very position we are overloaded.
Something is not right here, it doesn't make any sense , somebody has cocked right up and has no place being in a football club at any level.

Lads..the majority of the summer signings were koeman..klasson, sigurdson, rooney, keane...those are koeman signings. Walsh responsible for the younger players like lookman (who should be playing ever week) and that kid with andwrlecht

The signings we made arent the major issue.

Its the signings we DIDNT make, that is the issue.

Given the horribly bad state of the club and overall incompetence of the whole management team, which he has played some role in contributing to, he needs to go now. Need a clean out if the club is going to recover in time to stay in the prem.
