Whilst this is a good point, those three were all a bit crap to average before last season were they not?
than man would be working with a totally different budget though, he has worked with chelsea in the past he can get big names in. its koemans choice as well so lets show a bit of faith

Who did he get in at Chelsea? I didn't know he worked there.

With SNN reporting that Leicester have turned down our approach, I fully expect him to be unveiled before the weekend

Which makes it more impressive surely? That he saw talent in players nobody else did? Anyone can recommend signing a player who is already known to be quality.

I'm not disagreeing mate. They were boss last season obviously.

But Vardy and Mahrez had been there a couple of seasons before getting good. Maybe it was Ranieri rather than Walsh.

Kante of course was an excellent find.

I'm just trying to offer a balanced view IMHO

People have made their mind up already it seems mate, should of just stuck with Martinez, Jones and Lawrence

'Barring that season that Leicester City won the Premier League with these three players at their most influential, they were crap'?

What is it that is a measure of ability? Surely success at the highest level would have some bearing?

Surely the point of a head scout / DoF / whatever is to pluck players from nowhere. It'd hardly be a good use of wages for us to sign someone who comes in and goes "yeah I've heard that pogba kid is quite good let's go for him". I doubt buying proven quality will be affected by this signing, but signing the likes of mahrez et al will always be a good thing

It's probably the drugs, which hopefully Walsh will bring with him.
