I love it. Remember how smug Allardyce and Walsh were when they had the boys club in full flow with Sammy Lee and Shakespeare? Demolished in 3 days.

'Steve and the boys will get out there for a couple of weekends' is what Allardyce said about them checking up on Lookman's progress in Germany. That quote said it all. A bunch of hangers on thinking they could take the piss. Probably all thought it was a big laugh and a joke, well they're not laughing now. Excellent stuff.

wander what club walsh, shakepeare , allardyce and lee will rock up to next.

they got west brom written all over them.

Was worse than that.

"Steve and The Gang".

See Ya.

..oh dear. He’s cost the club millions and facilitated the most unbalanced squad ever. Not to mention authorising the loans of players like Lookman and Dowell who could have played an effective part, not to mention Connolly and Robinson as conventional back up to Baines.

The man is the root of our on-field status and some folk still want him in the club.

His first team recruitment is a mess indeed, but to blame him for loaning Dowell and Lookman is too far fetch. He had no influence on who should play week in week out, if the manager decides they are not good enough, it’s the role of dof to find alternate competitive game time in order to continue their development.

We’ve never recruited any significant youth players prior to Walsh arrival. He brought in high quality English youth from the lower league to be fair. With this sacking, will this u23 recruitment continue to succeed?
