I expect them not to sell out biggest threat our best goal scorer before they have secured a replacement. To not sign one was poor. Yes Koeman should be setting up the players much better and is making various mistakes selection wise and should be getting more out of this team. But taking 25 goals out and not securing any kind of out and out replacement was very poor it should have been the first signing. If you can't get plan A, you go down the list, sure if they don't want to come or you think they aren't good enough fine but the failure to secure ANYONE was a failure surely? If we'd spent as much time chasing a striker as we did the Sig we could have got a Benteke in my view. It's not the first time Bill has been involved in a transfer failure for every success there is a litany of errors I am afraid.
 



The more you look at this squad, the holes in it, the lack of balance, the pace of it, the age of it. You have to lay that at the door of the director of football.
