Questions have to be asked of all English clubs when Sevilla can knock the ball around and make English teams like us (and the RS) look utterly clueless when their entire squad cost less than Gylfi Sigurdsson.

You could have bought Sevilla for the money we've spent in 2 transfer windows.

Yeh just saying that's the reason they have a quality squad for a fraction of the price. Plus they don't have permit issues which can screw English clubs.

I would be interested to hear how long ago Walsh found out that Rooney would be arriving; and which of his transfer targets he feels are best-suited to adapting to the limitations of someone who he must have known would start every game as the team's attacking fulcrum.

Never liked the role of DoF. We had De Fanti and Congerton and both signed some crap for us for me the manager should have full control of signings its them who lose their job if the players aren't up to it
