We signed loads of players. Some targets did not come for reasons beyond Everton's control.
The anger on here is completely ridiculous.
If you compare this summer to others, it has been largely successful. 7 or 8 out of 10. Not perfect, but not bad. Step back and look at the big picture of what has happened.
Transfer deadline day and minute by minute updates generate a frenzy with fans expecting deals.
Everton had a net spend of over 40m and needed to sell to continue spending. Barkley sank that, not the club.
Barkley may have messed the last minute plans up but someone at the club prioritised a half a dozen centre mids over a striker. Everyone would accept that we have a finite transfer budget, so get the one player we desperately need in first (striker), then spend according to sales. I'm not saying that Walsh is in charge of prioritising our list but someone must be and whoever that is should no longer be employed as they messed up extraordinarily badly.

I don't know why Walsh is getting the blame Moshiri pretty much confirmed they've all been Koeman's signings all we know Walsh could of recommend some gems Koeman is stubborn as af only interested in marathon runners

Why's he not done the decent thing as resigned?

As I said before I hope Moshiri quickly learns from mistakes and has the foresight to see when things are not working like he did with Martinez.

This guy is the Bernard Madoff of the football word. Absolute fraud.
