When I first started supporting Everton, I really didn't hate the dark side like most of the long time supporters did.
Rest assured, it didn't take long for me to see why they really were a rotten club. Now I just can't stand 'em. And worse, anytime I see some bandwagon fan here in the States wearing a [Poor language removed] shirt, it's all I can do from having a go at 'em and asking them, "Other than Gerrard, name two players from Liverpool FC...."

i can pretty much say the same thing, i originally didn't mind them, and low and behold, they proved themselves to be absoulte filth . I have the same loathing of bandwagon supporters over here in Australia also.It's so annoying knowing they know [Poor language removed] all about the club makes you want to grab them and shake them till they understand how wrong they are.
All the papers in Ireland are saying its likely he could be on his way to Everton by Monday!! I had huge reservations about Hunt from what i had seen of him at Reading before his International debut, after seeing him in on many occasions now for the Irish side, i would have him here! He really is a cult figure for the national team the crowd shout for him the middle of games to brought on and to be honest i would prefer to see him start over Duff, Mcgeady and Kilbane for us.
He is immense when he plays think of Tim Cahills tenacity at multioly it by ten, he is a hard little nut, but not in a milicous way, he has some engine and can use it effectively, behind that though he has some excelent quality i admti being quite surprised by his vision and distribution and his ability to shoot and send in a good cross. He can go past players cleverly and he wears teams down. If he comes i have no doubht everyone will love him and soon become a firm favourate. Hes better then AVDM IMO.

I believe Hunt would be a good signing, i understand he's not an attractive (literally) signing, and he maybe from the savage mould of player, but there's more to his game than just being compared to lily, the opposition hate him, he'll put his foot in, good passer, great engine and can score goals.
The negativity on this thread is amazing, he won't break the bank, good addition to the squad, premiership and international experience, what more do we want.
