He's a terrible player now.

Even Blackburn fans think he's [Poor language removed].

He had two bad years at Celta Viga before rediscovering his form on loan at Porto.
I wouldn't say no to the 35 goals in 78 run outs he's managed at Blackburn.

And if he comes to us he'll have Peanuts to talk to.

Dam we are an insightful bunch on this site.

This is from August 2007

Lol quite like this quote from that thread:

Yeh as Ive stated before the more I talk about Appiah the more I would really love to see him in the blue shirt. He has got it all- hes strong, can pass, can tackle and can find the back of the net- and hes only 26!

A midfield that could consist of:

arteta---Jags---Appiah---Pienaar

Looks good to me ;)

Anyone spot the deliberate mistake? :D

Grab him, he's on a free and no one can deny his quality. With the amount of players we are short of he would fit in nicely as a squad player.

He was shocking last season and Blackburn fans want rid.

I'm not sure if Everton are in the position to go forking 8 million on a 31 year old.

If Appiah's in the frame, why not McCarthy?
Had a poor last season with injury, but he's back, fit and apparently available.
He's 31 in November but should still have at least three years in him at this level.

4 based on the neville farce
