Don't like Oviedo on the wing. IMO he's an attacking full-back.

It's good that there are so many options. You could go with a 4-3-3 with a fluid front 3 of Rom, Etoo and Naismith and McCarthy, Barry and Barkley in midfield. Or you can go with the 4-2-3-1 which seems to be our staple. 4-4-2 is also a possibility whether that be a flat 4 midfield or some kind of diamond. And I reckon personnel is there to go for 3 at the back too. Which players used depends on which system but the options are there.

Besic will eventually edge Barry out. Barkely needs to step up his game like Naismith did in order to displace him, Eto'o will get a start against west brom in place of Lukaku and I hope Mirallas plays like he does against big teams most weeks, that talent + snide = fans favourite

...when asked on TalkSport this morning Andy Gray said he was 'concerned about Everton'. Thinks we have stood still (accepts we have got Lukaku and Barry on-board) whilst most of those around us have improved their squads. Not sure 'concerned' is a word I'd use if it means we're as good as last time.

Andy Grays a bell

....thought the word 'concerned' was a bit odd. For me, that means he thinks we will struggle. Mind you, the so called experts said that would be the case last season.
Hes always giving us little underhand digs and criticizing us. Same with all the pundits, makes it all the sweeter when we prove them wrong
