Nope. That was established in the original trilogy.

TLJ is the prime example of everything that is wrong with modern movies - self aware, apologetic ‘comedy’, reboot masquerading as a sequel, copying scenes from superior movies, telling us how we should feel rather than actually making us feel it through storytelling.

TLJ is literally a series of set piece action scenes, strung together by a terrible storyline to accommodate them.

What was the last movie you liked, out of interest?
 
I voted cheese on light saber, simply because I feel it was better than Awful but not average. None of the last 5 main story starwars movies have been great movies, the original 3 were great and Rogue one was awesome, Solo not so great.
 
Neither action packed nor cerebral in my book. Sought to be as un-movie like as possible to appease the fanbase.

I for one see a blockbuster for what it is, which is why I like TLJ, which was far better than El Camino.

As I said, it was decent. Not amazing, just decent and entertaining.

TLJ is an abomination. It did the one thing I thought it was impossible to do with a Star Wars movie - be boring.
