Mick Mill's son, England international & of Ipswich a great overlapping full back was Mick ..... if his son's half as good as him he will make our first team as a winger .....

…ffs, Joey, Mick Mills is 74 and more likely to be Stan Mills grandad.

The other point worth noting is Stan Mills brother is one of the country’s best middle-distance athletes, so the genes are very good. I’ve been mentioning Stanley Mills for a couple of years (suggesting he revert to RB) but I’m under no illusion about the massive gulf to first team football. Saying that, I recall a commentator saying he’s one of the best PL2 players.

Needs to go on loan really. He's at a level where he's probably a bit too good for U21 football, but not ready to be near the prem yet.

A solid League 1/Champ loan would be ideal really.

Proper throwback name isn’t it?

Can picture a Stanley Mills in the old photos thread, sporting a flat cap and smoking a woodbine.

While Mills lacks first team experience he’s the type of pacy , mobile , goalscoring forward we should be bringing through . If he manages to get some pre season game time and impresses Dyche then we are in such deep shoite in terms of squad depth and no money to spend that he may well become a squad team regular . A six month loan spell though is most likely for him.
