The main part of this article is actual about the possibility of the RS' game against Besiktas being investigated for match fixing (:)), but further down it goes on to talk about the possibility of UEFA allowing stadia with standing areas in european competition, with Werder Bremen cited as an example. I seem to recall Bill championing such a thing a while ago.

Considering the possibility of a new stadium or redeveloped Goodison in our nearish future (but lets not get into that argument), would you like to see a standing area incorporated into the plans?

Yes, I feel as though Standing would help generate more of an atmosphere, for obvious reasons.

are the redshite capable of winning a game without controversy?

stadia regulations are injury, but i'm still buzzing from the prospect of the shi.te getting reprimanded.

they didnt stop till we scored - they were one of the highlights of the match, fair play to them.

they werent having the russian lady telling them to sit down either.

sporadic chanting from the home supporters reminded them and the players that we were still here, but they out performed 36000 tonight, with consummate ease.

There's a campaign called Standupsitdown that are trying to allow for one stand/tier to allow for standing up in front of your seat. That way those who like to stand and those who like to sit don't have to get on each others nerves! There is a good chance of this campaign becoming successful in the future, it also a very good compromise on the debate.

There should be provisions to allow this in the Kirkby stadium, but there isn't. If there is standing at Kirkby it will interfere with the people in the executive boxes.
