The previous owners were going to go with The bill kenwright stadium.

The four stand were going to be named:
The bill kenwright north stand
The bill kenwright east stand
The bill kenwright south stand
The bill kenwright west stand

Hopefully, that will change now.

I’d name the toilets after him but that’s about it … I mean he put us in enough crap so it would seem appropriate

I know Moshiri was a failure in so many ways as our owner. Nearly bankrupted us in fact. But, without him we would not have this stadium. We should name one stand after him.

Is there any other club in the world that would name something that is so important to the club after someone who nearly destroyed the club, after said person had left and had severed all ties?

How about naming one of the stands after an unsung hero of the stadium build -

'The Shoalway Stand'

I Think Kenwright and Kendall should have stands named after them. For Howard few can argue that what he achieved as a player and then as a manager puts him head and shoulders above all others. For me the new stadium doesn't happen without Kenwright, I know Moshiri funded it (or secured the loans), but Kenwright was the person with the passion for the football club at board level. But we could keep 2 as unnamed for now, hopefully in the future we will have new people who will be deemed worthy of having a stand named after them
Hello Jenny Seagrove

Big Nev stand

He should get something at the new stadium, I would love a statue of Nev, but a stand would be a great tribute as well.

I kind of feel like the stands are going to be named after sponsors. I remember when we signed deals with Castore and Christopher Ward there was a big thing about them being “founder sponsors” or something like that, made me thing that at least 2 of the stands may just be named after them.

No one would argue with Howard Kendall being remembered. The stadium happened despite Kenwright being involved. Moshiri funded it which made it happen relatively quickly, but we were close to getting the funding for the Kings dock, only for Kenwright to stick his oar in and it fell by the wayside. He spent over 2 decades holding the club back while we were making great progress getting back to the top on the pitch, just so he could get a rich guy to splurge a load of cash and he could stay front of center in the directors box. Kenwright became more passionate about keeping control of the club rather than making the club moving forward, and not many people want a lasting reminder to those times.
