I would be hugely concerned if our level of performnce wasnt good mate, its actually as good as anything i have seen in the league this year, we're far more consistent then most, but are playing catch up for our bad start, we're nicely poised despite injuries etc and this team has a few more gears in it.

Im calling it early - Europe nailed on.

Its stubborness rather than the team being stale IMO.

Why cant we play a more creative attacking midfielder? Why dont we play 4-4-2 with 2 main strikers? Why dont Guaye, Silva, Baxter etc get a run out?

You've got to take notice of the teams around us and see there are changes with them, whether its formation wise or tactics.
I know there reasons why the kids arent getting a run out, but its seems a lot teams around us are blooding more kids - Arsenal, United, Chelsea, Villa, Sunderland, Bolton, are all having 3-4 young kids getting games. And why not?

Formation wise - Spurs and Arsenal play 4-4-1-1 with a play maker just off the striker (Fabregas and Van Der Vaart.) Chelsea 4-3-3 with Anelka Drogba and Malouda. United 4-4-2 with Berbatov, Rooney or Hernandez.

Im not talking about mass changes and chances. I think we've been playing some great football. But a lack of concentration at the back and mistakes have led to goal. Needs work.

While our approach play is good, the final ball isnt there. Why is that? Is Cahill not creative enough? Do our loan strikers get in enough good positions?

Set pieces are generally terrible. Corners poor, free kicks poor, crossing rare. Needs sorting.

Its pin-pointing these small things and changing it during a game or before hand. Not getting enough balls into the box...tell your wide players to cross from anywhere near the box. Not feeding the strikers? Push your creative player further up the pitch and drop a player back.

Its typical of Moyes to keep ploughing with the set plan, no plan B, changes at the 70minute mark. I've said at the start of the season he needs to read the games better and make changes in the game. He's not doing that...unless we're 2-0 down.
