I have to wonder how much of an impact this all will have, IF and when the time comes that we have to apply for permission to do something with whats left of GP, IF we moved.

Mate why would they stop it if they want us out?knocking it back if anything increases the chances that we stay,Lets face facts forget the [Poor language removed] building in the park ,we are are own worse enemies.we pissed them(LCC)good style when we bailed out of kings dock when they bent over backwards to help.then we put in an application which contravenes council policy and expect to get it passed? the board are making us look stupid if Moyes managed like the board we would be in the blue square league by now.
 

Well, I stopped having an opinion on this whole issue long ago. I faced the reality that I will not be having much opportunity to go and watch them live anymore, so long as I can still see them play on the internet and tv that will have to do.

So please consider this opinion as a neutral one.

Every heard the term 'perception is reality'??? Because in this case, based on all the internet propoganda spewed by both sides in this, LCC look incredibly petty in this. retractions all over the show, different reasons spewed into the public forum.

Everton want to move, Everton want to develop Bellefield. Well [Poor language removed] 'em. They don't want to line our coffers with gold, we will prevent them from lining theirs.



JUST LET THEM DEVELOP THE LAND, and then everyone can move along with their lives. If this does anything it will likely harden the resolve of the board to move.

Said that myself yesterday, and also if it does fall through how are the board meant to work with a council who have done things like this to prevent us making money. The relationship is unworkable and would require 1 or both parties to change hands for any chance of both the club and the council to work together again
 
This is an extract from a recently released document from Tesco/Everton:

Valley Road (Westvale) Bus Park Queuing Reservoir

The bus park concourse area is approximately 2,150m[sup]2[/sup]. At a Fruin level of ElF this equates to 0.28m2 per person, similar to that experienced at Aintree railway station.

This area will hold approximately 7,700 people.

The bus park concourse is supplemented by another queuing area, a 10m footway along the northern side of Valley Road between Bewley Drive and Whitefield Drive. This area is approximately 1 ,220m[sup]2[/sup] and can hold approximately 4,300 people.

It is expected that the bus park will need to accommodate in the first hour after the final whistle approximately 11,680 people.

These people will arrive at a reasonable constant flow with 1,800 people boarding the buses immediately they arrive. The remaining 9,880 people being held in the bus park concourse and Valley Road footway at a density of 0.34m[sup]2[/sup] per person.

gees, some people just never move fast enough. Oh well, at least land prices will be lower.

Once again no one in the club can be blamed for this. LCC v EFC again.
 

It's all in the Kirkby stadium thread mate...where it's been established that Liverpool City Council were acting on their own Housing Policy programme to provide a mix of affordable homes and not the EFC requested luxury home application. The Inspector agreed with that and so we're at the point where the club has to reapply.

Well, it'll be interesting to see the wording of the petition that's being arranged by some posters on the forum. *What everyone knows* is all fine and dandy when you say it really quick, but when you sit down to construct a formal letter of concern/protest you're left looking for solid evidence and that can be pretty thin on the ground.
