Am sure we will survive. I cant imagine what it will be like without your valiant support. The club wont be the same si, honest:lol::lol:

its obvious to me that the council are doing everything in their power to hinder everton football club - whilst seemingly doing everything in their power to facilitate liverpool fc.

That some evertonians would sooner (and let me stress this utterly pointlessly) attack the everton board and chairman rather than the villains of the piece amazes me. Whatever you feel about Kirby, if we are to buy players, redevelop goodison or move to a stadium within the city we will need every spare penny we can get our hands on.

Laughing at a potential 10 million loss to the club because it proves some petty little point about the way the club is being run (or at least that is how some of you interpret this data) and makes you think you are intellectually superior is hardly going to help proceedings.

At the time we invested in Finch Farm, the proposal to develop Bellefield and build homes on it was a financially sound one. We were in the middle of a housing boom. Initial consultations would have told us that planning permission was highly likely. That the club didn't predict the sub-prime mortgage crisis and the collapse of housing prices is hardly a fair accusation against it- most governments round the world didn't. That the club didn't predict the souring of the relationship with the mendacious LCC, and it's consequences can hardly go against them either.

THESE BASTARDS ARE HINDERING OUR CLUB AND HELPING OUR RIVALS FFS.

So what do we get?

I expected to see on this forum, a call to arms.
Evertonians mobilising, in reflection of the team spirit that Moyes has built in his squad - to fight the great goliath that is Liverpool, so too, we as fans, rise to fight the LCC's blatant political decision making with letter campaigns, writing to our local MP's, demanding all the details of the planning board to be released and compared to other proposals AND IF ALL ELSE FAILS - every Evertonian in Liverpool signing a statement that we will vote out the local authority at the next opportunity for the treatment OUR BELOVED club has received.

still, its probably easier to just **** kenwright off isn't it.

I wish some of you weren't our fans because you are an embarrassment to the club.

(and its not just this issue that LCC has [Poor language removed] our club over with)

again, superfan, that's sound

you enjoy paying more, you've fought long and hard for this move

you've contributed [Poor language removed] all like, but you've fought long and hard all the same

when it happens, you can sit and look around the new stadium in Kirkby and be proud that you fell out with other Evertonians in order to get there

top man, top fan, well in

Very
well said.

I understand that....but the thing is - thats in the past and mistakes were made. Blame everyone and anyone but the fact remains that we're in a position NOW and how do we get out of it? How do we move on from here as we are NOW?

The suggestions are limited.
The alternatives are said to be minimal and not viable
Budget is limited
People have drew their lines, made their stance, and no-one is helping each other find solutions to problems apart from create problems, collate pursuation for and against that go around and around till it'll raises or collapses, till one side wins (what the anti-DK win no-one knows) and no-one will be pursuaded either way.

I think you're right: stalemate has been reached. There is an impasse now that can only be broken when the current regime takes flight, as they surely must if DK bites the dirt. In that sense there is no solution, no compromise, no knocking of heads together and pooling all the club's creative resources because we are still committed to what Kenwright calls the one and only game in town.

I just like to know, if the decision falls through what LCC and EFC are going to do because both of them havent a clue and non of this is going to make relations between EFC and LCC any better.

And that's why statements today from the club are so damaging, because every jibe and accusation will make it more difficult for Everton to get what it needs eventually. I really am shocked at Elstone today. I'd expect that sort of attack from Ian Ross or one of the flunkies down at GP, but for a previously affable and seemingly in control CEO it was a shock to read. He's lost his composure there and made himself look pretty shallow. Maybe the pressures getting to him?

Again never claimed to be a superfan unlike others. I have contributed as much as you have.
I think we should have a black armband day and a min silence at the 1st game in kirkby for our fans who chose not to be with us, then laugh our heads off as we look at a sell out crowd

Nobody's saying you have claimed to be a superfan Mr Paranoia, I'm calling you a superfan, because that's what you are

As for your contribution, you're right, you've contributed EXACTLY the same amount as I have towards the move - absolutely [Poor language removed] all. The difference is, you want it, and I don't.

Why do i need to contribute anything si? The ones against it are the ones who need to contribute and fight against it. Seems strange you have chose to do nothing to stop this considering your so against it

I think you need to learn to read

I've contributed nothing towards the move

Against it? That's an entirely different matter.

See you on Sunday
