[Poor language removed] me, great post.

Calling Kirkby not in Liverpool is shithouse tactics and I'd be sound with it if those doing it went to Kirkby town centre and told people they werent scouse.

If youre not going to go to the match if we moved to Kirkby then sound, better blue you lar.

my initial post didn't mention Kirkby not being in Liverpool, I simply stated I won't watch Everton play football in Kirkby. Which, if I'm honest, is entirely my decision whether I spend my money on Everton or not.

Kirkby IS in Knowsley though, whether people like that or not, it is not under the control of Liverpool City Council (which I believe is what has made the move so appealing to Everton and Tesco)

the fact that most of it's inhabitants have roots from Liverpool makes no difference to it's geographical position, much like it's geographical position makes no difference to the modern-day definition of a scouser or that the tag "scouser" is applied to someone from Kirkby. It is, and they tend to be fiercely proud of it (often more so than people from inner-city Liverpool actually :dodgy: )

I won't go to a match in Kirkby because I think it is the wrong decision to take Everton there. I have been vocal in my opinion, and going there would give the impression of supporting it.

I'm no better a blue than anyone. And to be honest, nor is anyone else. We are all Evertonians. I'm an Evertonian, the bloke who goes to every game including pre-season in Austria or wherever is, the bloke who listens from Australia when he can manage it is, and the bloke in Thailand who has only just heard of Everton, but decided they are the English team he will follow is as well.

How much you put into the club financially each year, or how many times you get to live games, makes no difference.

I got a ticket for an Australian to go to his first Everton game this season. He probably won't be back to England again. He's as passionate about Everton as any Evertonian I've met. There's no such thing as a "good" or "bad" Evertonian. Just "good" or "bad" people. How often you go to a football match makes no difference to that though.

This is the part i dont understand, i can fully see the logic of being against the idea, but lets just say we do move, i can bet that over 50% of these people that say, "i wont go to Kirkby" ,will go, if only so they can say i went and it was [Poor language removed].
