Reports suggest a man "with a knife" has been arrested near a vigil for three schoolgirls stabbed to death in Southport with a heavy police presence at the scene.

This is not what triggered the scenes at all, this was all organised on telegram yesterday.

You can tell a lot of them aren’t locals

Hopefully the Armed Police start volleying heads in all out Southport seen as they’re under attack. Under attack for saving more casualties yesterday.

Too right.

They should volley anyone who attacks them.

They should be able to approach a scene of someone who has been stabbing children knowing they can apply whatever force - even lethal - without any consequence whatsoever.

Evidently, people don't trust the police.

Some do, like the Synagogues in Germany to this day requiring armed guard. The mob turned up to take on the Mosque and the cops can't just stand by. The ring leader of this insanity needs to be sharing a cell with choudary.
Anyone capitalising on the deaths of children to further their own racism and bigoted agenda is very clearly a very deranged person.
This issue isn't a police one, I'm unsure of a few comments framing it that way. But now isn't the time for that sort of stuff, there's kids and a couple of heroes in hospital fighting for their lives. Our attentions and hopes and wishes are required there.
