Do we read anything into Barkley maintaining number 8.

Would Gana or Davies have moved up if Ross was certain to leave, or would it just become free if he leaves and be offered to the replacement?

He's returned but maybe he;s part of the U23s? Or he's just been deemed crap. Which is a shame.

Rodwell was given 8 about three weeks before he was sold to City.

I'm sure he's just had an operation on his knee? There's been pictures going round, but I don't know how recent they are.

Nice to see Pickford get 1, though I do feel sorry for Joel. If he's leaving though, nice to have an actual 'number one'.

I'd have liked Klaassen to get 7, with Bolasie staying 14. Doesn't really matter like.

Sandro getting 9 is boss. Keane getting 4 is boss though it's still weird seeing Schneiderlin with 2.
