Tbh mate, you will always get extreme opinions like that about other teams....im sure your Spurs forums is full of stuff like that about other players form other clubs.

But it is a funny thread.

I know a Spurs fan, season ticket holder who had the same view on Kane as I did....for years.

It is the nature of the beast. Hojbjerg was written off by loads of people after one game (vs EFC) and since then has been absolutely immense. Players are either the 'brilliant' or 'rubbish' with very few inbetween, Look at the change in opinion on DCL over the last 12 months. 99% of football fans are fickle.

I still don't particularly rate this Spurs team as title challengers.

I hope they do well, I like Spurs and the fans are here are really good but I just don't think they're anywhere near a title challenge.

I think there's very little between both us and them now.

I'd possibly go as far as saying we're the better first 11 but they have a stronger squad.

Come the end of the season, there's about 7 or 8 teams that will be very hard to split and calling it now is almost impossible. Spurs are in that group for me, despite where they are today. It can all change very quick.

I'm no accountant but that isn't actually a loss but a decrease in revenue. Unless i mis-read it.

I think losses get shown at a different time mate. It will be pretty brutal for Spurs to be honest. The cavaets are, most of the top 6 results will be very bad, and the other 14 clubs will not ook to clever either.

You borrowed 200m from the BOE. I mean that tends to be a giveaway as to the shortfall you were expecting. This really is just the start of the issues for football.

I never really got the Hojberg hate after 1 game. He was poor but it was his 1st game. I suppose because Allan and Doucoure had settled in so well instantly it highlighted it, but I tend to think you need to give people 10-15 games at anew club before you look at them.

The stats show he was a good presser and tackler at Southampton and he could pass the ball. I suspect he was 1st choice for us, but I wonder if it was instead of Allan or Doucoure. Him and Sissoko are a proper midfield pair for mem know the league, tough, physical etc. It's allowing the third guy, Ndombele to do his thing as well (and again, a prime example of why you need to give peope time).

I can't remember what you paid for Lo Celso, but sure I read it was 50m+. Spurs recruitment is normally very good so he's unlikely to be terrible, he probably just needs a bit more time.

Spurs are right in the title race. You could really do with beating Liverpool, but at present you are bang in it.

If we are still in with a chance after the next 5 games (- Chelsea (a) - Arsenal (h) - Crystal Palace (a) - Liverpool (a) - Leicester (h) i will start to get excited.

Yes I've just seen that, Wolves at the end too. It's a brutal set of games to be honest. If you're still top after that 6 youre really in it. That's going to be the litmus test though.

Just read what Levy has said. He has said without fans returning (I presume he means in full) this season it will be an "irrecoverable loss of income". I am not sure exactly what that means, but it doesn't sound very promising for Spurs.
