He looks uninterested. Eriksen was a huge loss and a quality midfield is now average.

I 100% agree about the loss of Eriksen ands think you're being generous saying Sunday's midfield is average, without Lo Celso its poor.
I don't think Kane looks disinterested, to me he looked frustrated that he isn't getting any service to be able to score.
If Spurs get Bale I think Kane's frustration will disappear.

Harry Kane is on a completely different planet to DCL in terms of ability and DCL has to go a long way to be mentioned in the same sentence as Kane. Son is also an excellent player, though I think he could be better. For instance, I think a manager like Klopp would have got a much higher goals output out of him as he has done with Mane and Salah. I've never felt like Son has hit anywhere near the numbers his physical and technical ability suggest he should be hitting.

I think at pretty much any other club they'd have won something. Them leaving Spurs without winning anything is bordering on unthinkable and would be pretty embarrassing all told. Superb footballers.

They need to do a documentary just on Daniel Levy, he's like the David Brent of football.

"we can't let you leave Eriksen unless we get a 20m offer"

Eriksen "Well that has nothing to do with me as I don't deal with the figures"

"yes but as long as you know that's what someone has to pay otherwise I can't let you leave"

Erikssn "it's nothing to do with me that's up to both clubs to discuss"

"yes I know Christian but 20m isn't much compared to what your worth so I can't sell you unless someone bids that for you"

Awkward silence

Mourinho gives Levy a glance as if to say "pipe down knobhead"

The fella is an absolute tool. Talking to Eriksen like it's up to him to sort the amount out they get. Eriksen just looks really uncomfortable.

@Yid4life does Levy get bad press from the Spurs fans or is he well liked?

Can't wait for episode 5 where Deli Ali discusses if everyone uses shampoo and conditioner or does everyone just go for a 2in1 product

The ENIC poll on TFC has 126 votes. 67.5% voted ENIC out..

Cant help but feel Bale is a desperation move after Sunday.

I also have no clue if it’ll work out, he’s barely kicked a ball for 12 months and is now 31.

I guess the bonus there for Spurs would be it’s a loan, and that means that if it does backfire he can walk away and they’ve at least tried.

Spurs were in talks with Madrid and Bale's agent long before Sunday night.

one suggestion last night is that Spurs are up for sale & the bale loan helps with the club profile. They are in dire straights with no NFL, Gate reciepts and the banked on CL money. Ticks a lot of boxes

There was a suggestion last night that I'm a fantastic kind considerate lover and everyone who has ever came into contact with me thinks I'm a lovely person.

I hope both suggestions are correct ;) but I doubt either is true.

Makes little sense to add £350000 per week to your wage bill if you are in dire straits and want to sell.

I would agree, but I suppose the argument is, it raises the profile of the club, gets them media coverage & Spurs will argue it puts them back in the bracket of "Elite Clubs"

Also, dont think the wages are near that level from what I have read.

£350k, £250k, matters not really. Point is, buyers of a football club will look at the accounts before the back pages.

Not sure that is true. I would imagine any sovereign wealth fund / Chinese investment would be sold as much by the shiny thing as the accounts.
