I dip my toe into the 'Fighting Cock' site.

A lot of unhappy folks there, despite having an amazing stadium, Harry Kane, and Jose.

They universally hate the RS, so not all lost.

If I was a Cockney, I would be a Lilywhite.

Good lad.

I love TFC, as mad as a bag of cats 90% of the time but there are proper laugh out loud posts virtually every day.

Outsiders would probably think the lunatics have taken over the asylum.

I can’t stand Spurs. They’re convinced that they’re a big club and quite simply...they’re not.

So glad they got the Finished One and we got Don Carlo.

Really? The same could be said for us and our fan base
We’re not a big club. We haven’t been for decades. We might be again some day, but as things stand - people who don’t support Everton don’t think of Everton as a big club. I don’t support Man Utd or Arsenal. But they’re still huge clubs.

Spurs aren’t even the biggest club in North London. And I prefer them to Arsenal who I also can’t stand.

There's plenty of blues who think we are bigger than we are because of our success in the 80s

Yes there are and they’re deluded just like the Spurs fans are.

Where are these mythical Spurs fans? Or are you talking about social media which I made up of 99% of people that have never see a game live in their lives?

As I have said on here many many times, there is a difference between 'big' and 'successful'.

If you are talking about support than we could be regarded as 'big', if you are talking 'success' then obviously we aren't.

Sky has poisoned and distorted people's minds, as regards notions of 'big' clubs.

Everton and Tottenham, are big clubs in terms of history, fanbase, and current ambitions.
Nothing to do with Sky. At home (in Melbourne) not many know who Spurs are. Everyone knows who Man Utd are.

It’s just how it is. I’ve always preferred supporting the underdog. Doesn’t bother me at all.

If you actually believe Spurs are a big club compared to the likes of Arsenal and Man Utd then you’re as deluded as many already think.

Where did I say that?

Also, you never said anything about 'compared to the likes of Woolwich and Man U' originally. You have moved the goal posts to suit your argument.

I will concede that there are several teams that are much bigger than us on social media. Which is obviously the main criteria to determine a clubs 'size' in modern football.

And if you really think I am deluded about Spurs you can't have read many of my posts on GOT overt the years.

It’s not just social media. Spurs aren’t a big club and haven’t been for decades, same with Everton too it saddens me to admit.

Spurs COULD be a big club with the new stadium but Levy holds you back.

Spurs are the Newcastle of London.

It must be all those times we played in Div 2 and all the times Toon have been in the CL that makes us comparable I suppose.

Can't argue with that.
