Well my initial reaction was that Rudiger was signalling that someone in the crowd was doing monkey gestures with his arms. He appeared to signal to Azpilicueta this very thing, so not necessarily was the racism audible. That was what i took from watching replays of Rudiger and how he brought it to his captains attention.
If they have cameras that can lip read every supporter, I would imagine it would pick up someone doing a monkey impression!
The trouble I think personally think here is that the media, the likes of the weapons on Sky Sports have a passionate debate about it but it will generate them more publicity, more click baity type articles and video clips to post, but actually after a week or two, they just dont care.
Why are they not reporting on the Manchester Derby racism, calling them out and following up with reports about what's been the punishment for those who are caught.
It really does seem like they just want instant clicks and then they move on.
