Yeah, it was a real close run thing that title race. United fans look back on that great campaign with real fondness I'm told.

They are really thankful for that CL campaign too... You know that one where Sevilla spanked them and he told all the fans they should be thankful because Sevilla were a bigger European club than them

Can’t argue with you mate, you believe that winning doesn’t matter, polar opposite to me really.

Mourinho is a born winner, Spurs won’t be his last big job either.

He utterly destroyed the Madrid dressing room. He almost ripped the most dominant national side in recent history to bits with his antics.

He bullied a female physio and again ripped the Chelsea dressing room apart and it took millions for Conte to rectify it.

He left inter with one of the highest and oldest wage bills in the world and they haven't recovered to this day!

He is toxic. Bayern are desperate for a manager but haven't even looked at him.
Perhaps they would consider approaching us to speak to Marco? You know, like we did to Watford :coffee:

How could I forget? The United fans I know can barely shut up about the night they went toe-to-toe with European royalty in Sevilla and took a 0-0 scoreline back to Old Trafford where they heroically succumbed to the extraordinary talents of Sergio Rico and co. by the narrowest of margins.

About where every single Man Utd Manager has had them since Alex Ferguson left, but at least he got them second place and won three trophies during his two and half years there which is better then 99% of manager would achieve with that dog dirt side.......

Nothing dog turd about that side at all. History has been rewritten by mourinho.

Zlatan, Valencia, Herrera, blind, carrick, Sanchez, Lukaku

All in that side. They should have finished 2nd

Is that you Poch ?

The guy was at Utd for 2 seasons and in that time frame he won The Europa League, The League Cup ( minor trophies to you to fit your argument ), and managed a 2nd place finish; losing just 28 in 144 games in all comps. Meanwhile in this same period at our club, the managerial revolving door hasn't stopped rotating, we've been piss farting about in mid table at best and not even had a whiff of silverware.

But according to you Mourinho isn't a serial winner and you would turn your nose up at him

LOL

The history speaks for itself.

Man Utd where garbage prior to Mourinho joing the club, but then won three trophies in two seasons and finished second.

Its rewriting of history to pretend that Mourinho didn't make a massive positive contribution to Man Utd.

Wowzers!! Imagine not thinking Jose is a great manager.
Don't you know how football works these days mate? Winning trophies and enjoying actual success is overrated and not in keeping with the footballing hipster of 2019.

The goal should be to play pretty football, get pats on the back from the media for playing pretty football, endlessly build to win stuff (but never actually achive it) and sneer at those who do win stuff.

"What does Jose Mourinho know about football eh? Forget all them leagues and cups he's won, did you see the togger we where playing the other day? I wouldn't trade that for anything!"

Baffling aint it.

You know what you're going to get when you appoint Jose.

You'll get a good season, a bed season and ultimately self destruction leading to him moving on with a big payoff.

It's certainly not too late for this season to turn in to a good one. Spurs are only 3 points off 5th so that's easily achievable. Getting 4th will be a massive achievement because the top 4 are already running away with it. I can see Spurs recovering this season, challenging next season then the collapse coming in the 3rd season with Jose blaming a lack in investment in 32 year old centre halves on £200k a week.

They'd literally just won the Fa cup
