Really didn’t expect Levy to go for him. He’ll be earning an absolute packet and will demand £200m per window to spend.

Imagine laughing at Spurs for sacking an under-performing manager and instantly getting in one of the biggest names in world football whilst we plod along with Marco Silva because no other decent manager would currently touch us with a barge pole.

So Poch is a nobody in this scenario? And Mourinho is coveted. Lol this isn't 2010. Gtfo with that trash. And I don't even like Silva. But you're way off the mark with the Poch and Mourinho.

The man has literally over-performed to a greater degree than 90% of managers in the world over the last 5 years.

It would be glorious if they gave Mourinho the money after watching him waste more at United, and get almost no results.

He's an awful hire. He's an antiquated manager at this point. For them to not give Poch anything then bring this guy in completely illustrates that the issue is with the board and Levy.

Anyone think Mourinho is going to solve the Eriksen problem?

Mourinho might have a little bounce of success, but it will end in disaster within a couple years. And I don't think they get a major trophy out of it

I’m not disputing what he’s achieved while he’s been there, fantastic manager, with a brilliant squad at his disposal.

But the point stands they are under-performing this season. If I was a spurs fan, there’s no way I would’ve wanted him sacked, but my point is we can’t really mock them for showing a bit of ambition and backbone by appointing a serial winner.
