Doesn't matter though, does it, if they win something?

Because five months ago he'd took them to a Champions League final and had them as fringe title contenders. A club that before him was managed by Tim Sherwood and is ran on a shoestring wage budget who haven't won anything ever and before he came looked like 50 years away from doing so again.
He's a genuine top drawer manager who's going through a minor blip - it's absolutely insane to get rid of him.
So they've got Mourinho lined up clearly, but that's still the dumbest decision a club has made in this country as far as I'm concerned.
glad you said "in this country", but yes this is almost as bad as Real getting rid of del Bosque
Guess we’ll see - at least Spurs Liverpool games might not be a foregone conclusio.Think he's had enough time away now to be different from the Jose we saw at United.
Have the gint in the eye that made him the man again.
It’s going to go down as one of those great, trophyless eras for a club. The last one was probably Keegan’s Newcastle (or more recently possibly O’Leary’s Leeds).Didn't realise he's been there 5 years
