Indeed. They were a bit knackered by Covid/stadium as it was, no blame there.

But the desperate dash for the cash to make up the numbers is a stain that will take years to remove. Then there is the financials.....

I've made a few jokes about Liverpool being skint, but Spurs look even worse to me. FSG have converted some equity to loan the club some money to help the club through. I'm nos sure Spurs have/will do the same.

I am not immersed in their accounts, but pretty sure they would have budgeted for 20 odd home games, and a handful of NFL games as well. Guns & Roses had to cancel a gig there, and I am sure there were others. Wasnt some boxing bout pencilled in as well?

Then there is the £175m Govt covid loan.

Plus, possibly, a multi million fee to not be in the ESL.

They have a very valuable asset in Kane which will help them financially, he will deffo be gone in the summer.
