Finishing outside the top 4 with those two fit for a reasonable number of games would be absolutely inexcusable and surely won't happen. They should be looking to take 2nd this season if Kane and Son don't break down. The summer would prove very interesting if they manage to fail to qualify for the CL but I can't see it.

Bale is completely finished.

Said at the start of the season that top 4 would be a very good season for these and I stick by that. Their aim should be to secure a top 4 spot and they’re simply setting themselves up for a cold hard slap with a wet fish by dreaming of a title challenge. Nowhere near the level required.
