God! I was at that game! the 'Highway Patrol' score! Jimmy Harris hat trick away at Spurs and we LOST ! Joey...you can explain Highway Patrol to the youngsters!
police series where they shouted over the radio come in 10-4 - the reds went round shouting that at you!
A young Albert Dunlop stepped in for Jimmy O'neill that day and had a mare - Bobby Smith the Spurs centre forward had a field day!

Can see Morgs and Gana finding it difficult against the strength of Dembele and Wanyama in the middle tomorrow. A huge test for the boys, let's hope we can come through it well.

This is going to be such a massive test, yet I am strangely confident the blues will put on a performance and slowly but surely the rest of the U.K. will realise Everton are a threat to the top 6...

Hopefully Toby is out for this - the midfield battle will be very interesting as well, quality between the 2 teams is just about on par for me. We've got to that point where we can go toe-to-toe with these teams rather than sit deep hoping desperately for a draw. Spurs struggle against sides that press - we saw this on the opening day of the season and at the pit just a few weeks ago. Think we'll go back to the 3-4-3 for this too.

Joel

Holgate - Williams - Mori

Coleman - Gana - Schneiderlin - Baines

Barkley - Lukaku - Mirallas

I wouldn't mind a draw tbh but a win would be absolutely fantastic both for our stature and momentum - a win here and against WBA next week and we're 5th, albeit Arsenal and United have 2 games in hand.

COYB!!!!

Here's a thought: We have three games to play until the 18th of march, before Utd go into their next game on the 19th.
If we can win tomorrow, and maybe beat West Brom at home, we could actually go above Utd and level with Arsenal albeit with more games played.
Furthermore, beating Hull at home on the 18th will give us 4 points and three games ahead.

It's a big ask, but three wins in a row and we are looking at a situation where the pressure is all on a United squad burdened with important cup matches all over their schedule.

Also, one of their following three games there would be a six-pointer aways at Old Trafford :)

Joey...you could be older than me!!

Saw Chas and Dave play once. Thought they'd be crap but they were actually very good. Excellent, tight musicianship and ability to work a crowd. Real professionals.

2-0 to Everton tomorrow....
