I know it is very unpopular, but I have grave doubts about about Ross.
Yes he has everything to be a great player, but he lacks one thing the ability to think quick enough to make that crucial pass or the vital interception or tackle.
Everything he does on instinct, I could list players who possessed both of these qualities, many played for us in the past.
However, you only have to look Eto,o how a great adapts quickly to any situation that develops.
I hope Ross can learn this skill then he will be the best since the late Duncan Edwards - who I was fortunate to see.
Being prepared for abuse, and reply in advance.
"Please go forth and multiply". ( no swearing on this site, so one has to be more creative).

I don't think this is terribly unpopular tbf.

I think a lot of people including my self feel Barkley has it all to prove

Over analysis of a young player who had a very good first full season with some special moments, and who is just now, in this short period of what will be a very long career, having a poor spell after returning from injury.

Silly football fans with too much time on their hands.

....next 3 away are Spurs, City and Soton. Need to hang onto the shirt tales of those above us. If we can we could mount a real challenge in the 2nd half of the season.
