There are quite a few options. I have a feeling we may offer the developers of Upton Park a few quid to delay their build & play there for a season (1st season at the OS for WHU). Would be wierd for the Hammers to attend as away fans!

Surely Watford would make the most sense, if Wembley is a no go.

Be better than MK.

Capacity is too small.

Fair point. I can honestly say I thought Watford's capacity was a good 3-5 thousand more than it is (17k) and that MK Dons capacity was about 5-7k less than it is (30k,) Hence why Watford appeared a better choice out of the 2 for me, taking geography into consideration.

I think Wembley would be first choice. I'm not sure if there is a limit to the number of events that can be held there?

No limits I dont think, but if Take That did a 9 night run, you might have to be accomodating.

*other boy bands are available*

TBH I would much rather we didnt evict a school, some people from the homes they own and a church in order to make more money with which to try and "compete" with clubs owned by people of obscene wealth.

I agree it was jst comparing to how Spurs can manipulate matters on a pretext of investing in the area. So thya get help with a CPO which basically means they get the land on the cheap. Now if as suggested Walton Hall Park is available do we get that on the cheap or what.

Who said we are trying to get the land on the cheap, we have offered more than it is worth. There is no 'pretext' of investing in the area - we have and will invest in N17, we have already built a University Technical College on the site amongst other things.

Nearly right. The school project was in partnership with a zillion other businesses, I think. So an exaggerated claim, though in fairness, the club does offer some assistance to the disadvantaged. Other P L clubs, however, do more.

In the end, Spurs are no different to any big business looking to grow. They won't be too fussed who they step on to get to their goal. The flip side of the coin is that they can't whine when others fight back.
