Spurs is a "statement" game

While this is a game we can win, if you were a Spurs fan (and I wouldn't wish that on anyone), you would certainly be expecting your team to win at home and move above us.

It is by no means going to be easy, but i am going for a 4-0 win for us (y)

They really dont. They are not at all confident about this from the little research i did.

Man for man we have the better side, assuming no surprise injuries. Let's hope we don't need 2 in the second half to get all the points. An early goal for once would be nice.

A few weeks back WBA was talked of as being our biggest game of the season, now maybe it is this one, with the ****e playing Arsenal good chance they will get nothing and this is one chance neither of us can afford to get anything other than 3 points from. Same if they somehow manage to do Arsenal, anything less than 3 points for either us us will see the ****e start to pull away.
Being at home i would say they are under more pressure than us, they no it wont be easy, but i fully expect us to win!!

Coleman back, Gerry on the bench, maybe Troare too. Pienaar back to match fitness, McGeady having another week to get sharper, Kev on fire. Be confident

Think this game carries a little more pressure now after the Derby loss, but it's not a season breaker by any means. having said that with our injury list quickly shrinking and the way Roberto doesn't just want to sit back for a point in any game I think we will take it to spurs and beat them.

Can't help but think we'll be back to our best regardless of team we put out.

I say this because we haven't been at our best for a longgg time now...

It just makes sense to make up for it NOW, especially against a Spurs side that looks beatable

The timing feels right.

People always claim these to be must wins and games that will define our season.

IMO it's the dropped points at the likes of Cardiff, Norwich, fulham's etc that will stop you getting forth, not the odd defeat to other good teams.

Away point to spurs would be a good result in the bigger picture. 3 points would be a excellent boost.

Lamela? Why? I've only just found out who he is.

That was a response to Tim Cahill's opinion that he's 'nailed on to score'

Apart from that, Spurs supporters must go to the match a bag of nerves.

OK, Sherwood has had some good results since he got the job, but 1-5 v City has taken them back to similar recent defeats.

We just have to have one of our good days. And maybe not even that good if they are having 'one of those days'.

We are playing well against attacking teams (which Spurs with Sherwood on board are). We struggling mainly with teams that park bus and hit us on a counter.

We'll be okay :)
