I'm assuming liverpool/west ham at 13.30 and QPR/Wigan at 16.10 were already picked as sky live games on Sunday and ESPN wanted to show the game but couldn't show it late on Sat cause Spurs have a possible Europa game on the Thursday so only choice left were Sunday at 2.05 cause its the Manc derby on the Monday night.

I'm not entirely sure why Liverpool vs West Ham is kicking off at 1:30pm on the Sunday (potentially there would be a Europa game on the Thursday before it, but they're not through yet), but it is not being shown by Sky that weekend.

That weekend, Sky are showing Reading vs Southampton on the Saturday lunchtime; the Johnstones Paints Trophy Cup Final at 1:15pm on the Sunday afternoon, followed by QPR vs Wigan at 4:10pm. Man Utd vs Man City is on the Monday night at 8pm. ESPN's sole game for the weekend is Spurs vs Everton at 2:05pm.

I just assumed that the rs/west ham game was on sky due to the time but it doesn't appear to be yet. Strange.

..........I remember the run up to winning the League in '85 and there was a pivotal mid-week game at Spurs with about 10 games to go. Both of us were very much in the race but they had a greater balance of home games. Gray and Trevor Steven scored in a victory often remembered for a fantastic save from Southall.
Interesting how history can repeat itself with a similarly pivotal game. Lets hope the outcome is the same.
