Greedy so and so, and the stories that are told about how he "jocked off" other riders from horses he wanted to ride always appalled me.

My neighbour, God rest his soul, went to school with Piggott ... they used to racecon their bikes, one day Piggott stuck a stick into my neighbours spokes. They didn't get on after that. Piggott had a nasty streak that lost sight of competition and erred to cheating/gamesmanship.
