Should they escape the bottom three with two games remaining, the 10 point deduction will be applied.If they automatically go down then they'll start next season on - 10 points.

Not exactly a big club, but still a shock to see their rapid demise.

Tuff punishments for clubs in the lower leagues. West Ham should have got the same treatment, but I guess they have their guardian angel at the FA

Look at Luton. Out of the League now and they had 10 years in Division One (the old Premier League) not so long ago.

(First professional club in southern England, which I didn't know before.)

Hopefully they can steady the ship a little and begin to fight their way back. Sometimes though after a points deduction things begin to snowball, followed by more points being deducted and before you know it you're on your way to the Conference.
