It's sad that this is such a huge game less than a third of the way through the season.

They said last nights game was the first 6 pointer of the season and we are only in November. This one is the 2nd and its embarrassing.

To use the Golf parlance, today is moving day. Win and show some backbone and we start to move up the table. A defeat and Silva moves on.
To be fair and given what we were promised for this season the bar has not been set that high for Silva, an away win at Southampton shouldn't really be overly testing.

Our board cannot be blind to see we're in for the worst December in living memory. Should be 5 defeats on the spin. If we're lucky we might catch Arsenal / Chelsea on an off day and scrape two points. Silva should be long gone already. But yet another defeat here should really see the end of him. Even a draw. It's simply absolutely nowhere near acceptable with the resources he has. Can't wait to see him go.
