So poor and sloppy. We get the ball, make a load of sideways and backwards passes and then give the ball away with a sloppy pass. Southampton get the ball and within 3 passes they are in our area. It is the same every game. The annoying thing is we are capable of much better but are our own worst enemy.

I can only guess that he's jaded which is hampering his ability. Let's not forget, it's his first season of playing through Christmas and a congested fixture list.

Still, we shouldn't be making too many excuses if he's simply not performing as there's countless players who come with a similar situation and thrive.
