We tend to struggle with making accurate passes so I am not expecting to see many of these. 'Keep it tight and pinch one' might be the order of the day. Not pretty, but you have to cut your cloak according to your cloth.

Let us be honest about our next game, if we cannot beat Southampton then you have no right to think you can achieve a Europa Cup place. Man for man we have better players but we may not have a better team, even if they played extra time midweek and are missing first team players.

This is a precarious conclusion; if our players get wind of any expectations, they usually experience anxiety...which negatively affects performance. I steer clear of putting any pressure on Everton teams...they have a habit of bottling occasions when it is.
